No for part 2 of my posts about my trip to Australia {I figured I will just do 2 posts} Warning, there will be a lot of pictures that you are about to see. The first full weekend we were there, my Dad and Step Mum took us to 'Billabong', which is essentially a wildlife park. They have a full day of talks and feedings of the animals {which is good, because if they didn't you wouldn't be there for long at all}
It was a great day, and L loved the Kangaroos that were hopping around the place. We had bags of seeds, which they wanted, one of the Kangaroos actually went to grab the bag out of my hand and ripped a hole in the corner. L keeps telling everyone that the Kangaroo bit his hand {because of when he was feeding it}

So, as many of you may know, these past 6 weeks in New Zealand have revolved around Rugby... The Rugby World Cup in fact. If you are unsure of what it is, it is a huge rugby competition that happens every four year, and this year New Zealand hosted it.
Now, I'm not really a follower of rugby {to be honest it confuses me sometimes}, but my family are, and L seems to love it too.
On Sunday, it was the final {which New Zealand was in for the 3rd time in 24 years}, so we decided to go out to the 'Fanzone' and watch it.
But first, we needed to get ourselves covered in temporary tattoos. L really enjoyed himself.

After we sorted out the tattoos, we headed into the city. We were super early, but the time went really quick, we had a look around at all the things they had to do, and there were bands playing on the stage.
The fanzone was set up really well, it was like a wee rugby field, and heaps of kiddos were kicking their rugby balls around with friends and parents.
And they also had this, a giant trophy {well, actually a giant Webb Ellis Cup - which is the cup/trophy the winners get}

Of course, the main event of the night was the rugby game, which was played on huge TV screens. It was a very tough game, but, after 24 years since the last time New Zealand won, the boys did it, which made a lot of people happy.

For someone who doesn't like rugby very much, I had a really good afternoon/night. It was made even better that it was a long weekend, so it didn't matter that we got home at 11:30pm

First off, there are a lot of pictures in this post! Hello Lovelies! How are you all? I have missed you so much, and was having major blog withdrawals while I was away.  I will be filling you in on my holiday over 2 or 3 posts, because there is a lot of pictures.
So, as most of you know, I have been away in Australia for the past 2 weeks, and as some of you know, travelling overseas was one of the many things on my Life List {which I realised just now, that I doubled up on this particular goal}. These are in no particular order of what we did, but what is shown is:
- L on the aeroplane-At the beach and water park-Birds in the backyard {don't see many of these birds in NZ, and if you do they are most likely pets} -Hotel/Pub in a small town where we went and had lunch, it was such a gorgeous day, and the food was good.-The mine in the same small town-We went to the aquarium, we went out the back of the aquarium to the Turtle Hospital, it was really interesting. I didn't get any pictures of out there though.-Last picture is of L at Lollipops play land.
 











 



We had a really good time on holiday, and did so much more than is shown here.  Did you miss me?

Ok, as you may have read in my previous post(over 10 days ago eek) my laptop is dead. So, through the power of smart phones I bring you this post.

We haven't been up to much so far, although we aren't in the Gold Coast with the theme parks.

We have, however, been spending a lot of time at the beach and water park at the beach.

L has been having a great time, but the heat is making him very grumpy and tired. The forecast has been for storms,but they haven't eventuated to anything.

So for now that is all. I am sorry if it seems I am neglecting blogs,but I promise I will catch up when I get home.

I'm not very full up on blog topics at the moment, so I thought I would do a quick 'Things I'm Loving' post.
NAIL POLISH
I have a bit of an obsession with nail polish at the moment. I really want a yellow one, but haven't found one I like yet.
At the moment I am rocking highlighter pink! It is awesome, and I have had heaps of compliments about it.

Speaking of yellow. I am LOVING the colour yellow right now. I really want a yellow top or skirt, but can't seem to find any, that might be something to do after my holiday.

And speaking of holidays. I am loving that it is only like 5 days until I go away. I am so excited, it's my first time overseas and I can't wait!

I am also loving planning New Years! This is the first year I will do something that doesn't involve staying at home {My first Christmas and New Years without L this year}

And, lastly, I am loving all the lovely comments I have been getting, and I am glad that you all enjoyed learning more about me in the 10 Days of Me series.

My laptop charger decided to stop working on me so it died! I am going to replace it when I get back from Australia, which is a bummer cause I wanted to take it with me to do some blog posts, and put photos onto. But oh well, I'm sure it will be better to just spend the time over there enjoying my holiday {which if I say so myself, I do deserve}.
I finally got around to putting Picasa onto the Mac {our main (home) computer}, and my sister was staying in our spare room {which is also the computer room} the past couple of days, so today is my first chance of writing a post.
So what have I been up to you ask?
Well, school mainly.
I have been on full control this past week {meaning the normal teacher takes a side step, and I have to plan and teach every lesson} it is so much fun, and I am learning so much more every day.
I also went shopping. A couple of weeks ago, I went shopping and put some clothes on lay by. Well, I picked them up, and I must say, I am so pleased with what I got.
This was the first time {since having L} that I could go into a shop, see heaps of things that I liked, and then have them look good on me! I was so happy.
I got them all from Kmart, which is a pretty awesome shop!

After seeing these photos, I actually realise just how skinny my legs are compared to the rest of my body. No wonder all my friends go on about my 'nice legs'. My arms are the same actually, and on really cold days, my ankles, wrists, and knees get extremely sore from the cold {a little random fact about me there}

OH, I got blog award too! Exciting stuff, so let's share.

#2 Share 7 things about yourself Ok, so even though I just did a 10 day challenge, I will try and come up with 7 things.
-I have terrible stage fright, but I love singing. I have always wanted lesson to improve my voice/range, but don't think it will be worth it since I freeze as soon as I am meant to sing on my own. {I am fine if there is 1 or more people singing with me}
-I really want to experience a white Christmas. Our is in the middle of summer, and although Christmas/boxing day BBQ and beach is great, it would be awesome to experience the holidays another way. Instead of 'White Christmas'{the song} we have 'Christmas on the Beach' {I tried finding it on youtube, but no luck}
-I am my friends' rock. Pretty much all of my friends confide in me with everything, and they know I will do anything for them. That includes 2am phone calls from a distraught best friend. I am happy to say that they are the same for me too. I love my friends so much!
-I love Glee and Gossip Girl. I actually watch it online, only hours after it has aired. That is how much I don't want to wait for it to start playing again on TV here.
-My family never expected me to be the first to have a baby. I was the goody good, with big ambitions, no one ever expected that I would be pregnant at 17. But then again, they probably never expected me to keep those ambitions after I had L. They are there, and if anything they are bigger than ever.
Ok, so I can't think of another 2 things, so 5 will have to do for now.
Rule #3 is to pass this award onto 15 newly discovered blogs. So, I actually can't list any, because I don't have any newly discovered blogs. I am quite 'strict' I guess you can say about what will make me follow a blog, and lately there haven't been many.
However, as I do come across some, I will add them and pass it on, I promise!!
